A track about being stuck tongue

I'm playing around with 1 Bit waveforms at the moment. This was made with a dedicated VSTi (working title: Nautilus) that's almost complete. You're listening to 7 voices, plus 4 samples (loaded into the VSTi), FM, AM, and Super-Square (what Kraken does). Splitting the MIDI channels allows for mixing inside the VSTi, which is done by OR and XOR logic, selectable for each voice channel respectively.

If someone should look at the waveform and notice a third level (zero), this only happens when no voice channel is active, ie the instrument is really only 1 bit. I did this for convenience sake, should I want to mix this instrument with others in the future because positive-only waveforms are icky to mix.

The upload is raw without any effects, but here's a pimped version with more drums, eq, stereo and stuff:

Just finding this now! Wow!

wow, dirty crunchy and bumpin, i love this shit.

he's crunchy and he's got a nice tail.

1 and a half bit? big_smile Anyway, your plugin sounds great - I love the idea of experimenting with one bit sound - and your efforts have obviously payed off, because this is ace.

Oh, by the way looking forward to the VSTi. big_smile

This is awesome! Dirty and gritty. I love it.

You know, I can't help but read the blue "PM" button as "FM" when it's under your name. Seriously happened a few times now.

this is raw.
