Good work! DPCM gave the mix a bit too much noise for my tastes, but still... I've never gotten anything this lush out of an NES.
you are wrong. this was written with the vrc7 expansion chip allowing it to produce fm sounds. it also uses a normal amount of dpcm samples. no notable post processing was used. there is even an .ftm here http://2a03.free.fr/dl.php?file=3301 (note that it crashes the latest version of famitracker)
Pretty good. Kind of inspiring music I can work to, yet not too distracting.
A vanilla NES wouldn't sound like this without running it thru an equalizer to give more "depth" ? You can probably tell nothing about music
