Gunslinger Gutters (1bit-ish)

Here's a jazzy jam I wrote yesterday. It's made entirely with Special FX Engine samples I ripped from Beepola, it's an experiment in using 1-bit timbres but without the same limitations. Uses 4 channels for the most part, but there might be some spots where I used an extra one.

Interesting, here's hoping the rumor is true.

good question. rumor has it that beepola 2 will be released sometime after summer but who knows.

Thanks, I'll try it out. Speaking of which I wonder if any of these engines will make their way into beepola; is development still going on or is beepola pretty much done?

err, i meant E5x, not 59x.

well, shiru, mister beep, and me are using milkytracker - works well enough. on the other hand it doesn't really matter as you can't use any of the MOD/XM effects anyway, with the exception of Fxx and 59x. so ultimately it's much like using beepola.

Thanks guys. irrlichtproject: those look awesome! Too bad I'm lousy with .xm, I don't even know where to start; Any recommendations on a good tracker for .xm/.mod?
