horse the band was the only 'nintendocore' band and they said it 100% as a joke. it was one of their first interviews and it was a completely off the cuff thing. then some shitheads read the article and went NINTENDOCORE YAAAAAA and it was always a total joke that they said to see what suckers would suck it up. i actually emailed erik from htb soon afterwards and gave him shit for it and dude was still chill about it. the only reason they used that is because he used a very specific korg controller that he has since sold on ebay.

therefore, nintendocore is dead and if you make nintendocore, please say so here so that i can avoid it
