The palette was awful but yes, I was expecting at least some shading. When you have no blockspace limitations, you can go crazy with the dithering

Yeah, I wanted to try some nice shading like how C64 artists can get some great color illusions using that palette... unfortunately, this was a busy weekend for me, blah blah blah - perhaps next time

Anyway, I challenge KeFF to create a piece that includes a samurai astronaut, using the ZX Spectrum color palette. 
(No other ZX limitations imposed)
