Hey all,

I'm underway with my first Raspberry Pi project, it's a mini sample player/sequencer/groove thang, you can find out more on my blog here, http://lamptonworm.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/acid-py

Currently it's 303/909 sample based, 4 tracks with some basic controls and a few pattern buffers, definitely it's a WIP but wanted to share. Thoughts/comments welcome as always!

Cheers,
LW.

This is awesome, I love the display. I don't own a raspi but I've worked with them at job and this use is so impressive, just a small device totally usable on stage.

Congrats m8, if I purchase one this is definetively first in my todo list for it big_smile

Very cool, keep the info coming!

Looks like you have a dev board on top of the raspi?

Hey all,

Thanks for the positive comments smile

Yup, it's a Rasp Pi with an AdaFruit 16x2 panel, basically that is a single board with the LCD and a couple of buttons, and it slots right into the GPIO on the Pi, very neat/easy. Bit more info on the blog and some history around the numpad (which was a makey-makey switch box thing), and a quick video.

Cheers,
LW.
