Hi,

I recently got one of this USB bleep bloop cartridged with blue LEDS that light up everytime u turn on the gameboy.

Does anyone if this can be disable to save my dmgs batteries? it cools cool when performing but wo use it on daily basis with the LEDS on it bothers a bit.

Thank you.

simple answer... no. if you paid someone like 12ianma to do it, im sure your cart would still work after the repair. he changed mine to green.

You can just unsolder it from the board if you're confident with a soldering iron.

it probably isnt that much of a current draw....

im really not very confident in my soldering skills ... I might end up with a broken cart and I cant afford a new one rightnow .... I guess i will keep using my PSP on the road to make chiptunes. Thank you.

LEDs don't suck as much battery power that you may think they do.

20mA or less on the DMGs 6V? I'm not sure what leds the bleep bloops use though.

Not really worth worrying about.

I could be wrong, I know shit about voltage.
