I know I'm a little late to this thread, but this slap sound is perfect. Thanks for sharing! I'm using it in this work in progress (starting around 2:15).

Only tweak I made was a transpose value of 07 in the table to make it a perfect 5th. I also found that using an occasional R01 command gives you that rapid slap/pop sound bass players sometimes use.

Nice, dude! I like the use of the R command. It definitely makes the 'slap' aspect of the bass more apparent. Glad to see this tutorial still has some traction lmao

I tried my best to do a slap bass using PWM on one of the pulse channels in this cover I did of Phantom Pt II by Justice (comes in around 1:12)
Pretty sure I just used a table to switch from 50% to 12.5% for one row, then back to 50%. I think I also did a quick L -> R -> L+R pan as well just to make it pop out of the mix a bit more.
