Hi new here. Just have a question about MIDInes. Ive had one for a while and never used it. i wanna get back into chiptune now and dont have a nes. My question is will any of these new nes like systems i see on ebay run it? like any of these top loader ones. or does it have to be an original nes. and i know theres a top loader nes also, but these arent nintendo at all. just wondering.

thanks

What I heard is that most clone systems have crappy sound quality...

yeah, most of these won't sound as good as the real thing...if you look around, you should be able to find an NES for $30-45 (or cheaper)

It'll run on pretty much any NES or NES compatible hardware. As mentioned, many of the clones use emulation and sound is poorly recreated. However, some are actually quite decent. It's very hit or miss, so I'd recommend only buying something you can test first, unless the cost is very low.
