what's the best thing for mod-s3m-xm-it files on android? i know there is no way to edit them but is there a player that isn't full of adverts? preferably based on dumb?

xmplay? droidsound? If you search for "xm player" on the play store i'd think those would be among the first two results to pop up.

I use xmplay, it's not 100% accurate and sometimes flubs up with certain mods but for the most part it works well. The mods that didn't play back correctly were mostly modern ones that use a lot of weird tricks, iirc.

I don't know about accuracy, but xmp, deadbeef (might need the free plugins pack), and rockbox (there is an apk for android though not in the store) are also options:

there is some bugs when you try something outside mod/xm/it/etc but beside that it's pretty accurate and I rarely raged about accuracy on this one ! (maybe maximum 50 songs in thousands of modules !)
