It's meant to lighten up the load on the server's resources. Time for an admin huddle!
Maybe we can compromise?
Hmm I never seen it in any forum, are there really that many searches going on? Or is it to avoid fucking spambots overloading the servers?

Ya that is really annoying
if youre worried about floods just make it active for repeat searches... eg 3 times in a row in 10 secs
otherwise its very annoying ;0
it was a default setting. forgot about the issue till you mentioned it. fixed.
