My album "Redux34" is released on Ubiktune on friday, September 18th.
It's available for CD and Digital and digital Pre-order on my Bandcamp

Here's a nice article covering the release on the Ubiktune blog,
Also check out the preview mix on youtoob and the first single on Soundcloud.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm psyched to finally release this album, as it's taken me a number of years to finally reach my goal with it! smile
It features mainly LSDJ and Famitracker tunes that have been post-produced, arranged and extended with other instrumentation and production to varying degrees. Style-wise I believe it represents my experimental/progressive side of chiptuning, being a bit eclectic and not subscribing to a particular genre or clear reference, but all the while keepinga certain theme to the album. It features beautiful original artwork by part-time fireman and artist Anders Karlsson.

It's easy to ruin tracks with too much post-processing. On the other hand failing is the only way to learn and progress.

thank you!
Feryl: I'll be sure to include it on the next Lost Tapes compilation - choosing just 15 tracks has not been an easy job smile

Listen and download/buy/order floppy via Bandcamp!

A new album of old music.
Some of you might remember some of the tracks, and some have probably never heard my music, but I'm excited to finally start releasing my old material in a more accessible format than MODs and SIDs! smile

https://soundcloud.com/zabutom/live-gam … ntax-error

This is a recording of my live set at Syntax Error, using two gameboys running LSDJ, a mixer and an old delay effect pedal. It features some old never-before relased tracks that I've been playing live since 2008-2009 aswell as completely brand new material from upcoming releases. Just happy to finally be able to share a nice recording!

Cheers

Hey guys,
I have an idea I want to realize for a project. Would be greatful for any tips or leads on this.
Basically I want (ideally) a DMG to act as a MIDI controller to send MIDI DATA (not sync, just note data for each different button) to external gear via MIDI OUT. Is there any software made for this purpose, or would it be possible to write it? I'm building an Arduinoboy right now.
Thanks,
z

i think this would actually be really simple if you looked at the mgb and arduinoboy code.

That depends if i can get someone to help me since I don't do coding myself. Are they both Open Source?
Thanks so much everyone for the very useful and informative feedback!

Thanks, I suppose that could be an option. It's for an art installation where i have a good ol' DMG in mind

Really glad you guys like it. This release has just taken alot of effort and time, it's great to see it finally pay off in some way.
Also big thanks to SanderFocus for the beautiful cover art!

I will definitely try my hardest to dtrastically turn up the pace of releasing stuff now..

my gameboy remix/cover of psilodump's classic "the somnambulist"
used one DMG with LSDJ.

listen to it here
