Yush smile moar FM. Might even participate...

I want to sync lsdj as a slave to a po-12 via analog sync. According to the sync sheet made by 2xaa, this requires a stronger signal, from 3.3V to 5V. So i probably need an amp for that (and an analog sync cable ofc), but how many db does a 1.7 volt increase translate to? Any recommendations for an amp that has sufficient gain?

Thanks for your comment!
Maybe this isn't as impossible as i first thought...

Hi all. I was wondering what kind of signal the LSDJ analogue accepts as input. I ask because i want to use an external synth that has no dedicated sync out as a master for LSDJ to sync to. This means i manually need to tweak the signal.
How strong should the signal be(this is measured in volts right?), what waveform, at what pitch and how long should the signal be (a single wavecycle or half a second?), any other things?
I have heard about people who could sync it just using a snare sample (albeit it was wonky), so maybe LSDJ's rules for what is accepted as a valid input aren't that strict.
I have no hardware to test this on sadly.

Any tips on this are much appreciated!
