I'm ready for the midwest third wave then. wink  Let's get some people to come to some gigs!

I'm actually starting to dig the local Milwaukee scene.  There are a lot of chip artists, not a lot of chip shows, but a few weekly/monthly electronic shows.  + we've got Radiograffiti! wink  I think we could explode over here in the midwest.

Man, my carts going to die any day now.  No way I'm gonna buy a Transferer just for this one cart + I'm holding out for Drag'n Derp.  Does anyone have access to a Transferer and can do me the favor of backing up my 32M EMS cart?  I've had it since like 08 and I've never backed it up... I would just want you to back it up, email me the .sav, and then put something without save capabilities, like MuddyGB or shitwave on it, and send me the cart back of course.  I would cover shipping and could send you a couple extra bucks or a goodie or something.  Please someone put my mind at ease! sad I'm located in Wisconsin.

Someone please record!  Dang.

This release is dope!

Oh snap, EL vs. variation 4... EEEEK!  The new PCB mount looks slick too.  Can it fit other jacks?  I ordered some clear topped Switchcraft ones that I love - and would totally want to slap em' on.  Also, are those extra decoupling caps serving the purpose of protecting the board from reverse voltage spikes?  (I.e. Is this the cap mod that a lot of people put on the line outs on NES, etc, for protection?)

FANTASTIC!  This is so great!  I can not wait.  Way to go Delek!  As soon as Everdrive for PCE comes out... oh man!  You even got the LFO and noise channel in there!  So happy. big_smile heart

I'm quite attached to the Yamaha YM3526.  Not quite sure if it would fit?  It would be handy if there was a list of SMD packaged FM chips.  wink

If you can figure out what is whack with that battery pack, I'd buy it straightaway.

Nein.  Same as DMG CPU - without load screen.

Hey!  I finally got around to trying this out!  Awesome tracker, I haven't really gotten around to everything but I'm digging the sounds it can make.  Very fond of the PCM Saw and Pulse!  I was messing with the instrument editor today and came up with something for WeeklyBeats with it.  (Absolutely no compositional thought/direction here...)  Just some nice sounds.

Hey, I did this - it works great and looks super clean!  Thanks Wilba!

Summation of thread:

These are the artists who commented and are willing to play...

- Theta_Frost
- The Laohu
- ROCKMAN
- 8bit404
- Moriokun
- Noisewaves
- Shitbird
- DJCactus
- Kool Skull
- Proswell
- Baron Knoxbury! (I hope...)
- Squidula
- Snesel
- Crooked Sidewalks (?)
- SUPERNERD wants to fight!
- Pandastar
- Saskrotch
- E.S.C.

I can't speak for them, but Awkward Terrible, CCDM and Stagediver are also in the area - and they are cool.

E.S.C. also can do visuals.

Sounds like all the ingredients of a good show to me!  Now we just need a venue, date, and final roster of performers.  To be honest, if everyone who wants to play came, it would still be a fun time - regardless of turnout.  It's a practical blip fest midwest! big_smile

is there any particular reason most of you haven't gone to chicago chip gigs in the past?

For one, I can't drive. wink
