It's a very cool cart! Like I said though, I only have an unfinished version, as this version has just 4 out of the 9 tracks on the cart. I first tested out an earlier version of the ROM on my Everdrive.

Hey guys. Circuit Bird here.

Just wanted to show my YM2017 test cart. For reasons, I cannot say what songs are on here, but I can show you the cart. It has 4 tracks on it (it's an unfinished version of the cartridge, but only relevant for testing). The LED daughterboard was really interesting. When you turn on the Sega Genesis, the board scrolls "HI!" until you select a track. When you select a song, the board then displays EQ bars when it plays, and they are in time with the song.

Seriously, the YM2017 project is really neat and I hope to join their next project in terms of music! I was a beta tester for the cart to test the music playing on both PAL and NTSC via my modified model 1 Genesis. Pic is in the link below!

I originally made this track for a video game I'm working on. However, the original track never made the cut, so I decided to turn it into something else, as I didn't want it to go to waste. I gave the .vge module to Jredd who gave it a hip hop percussion and I arranged a drum roll at the start to give it that character select feel.

I would recommend looking into the Everdrive V3 as well. I know you want a USB only one, but the Everdrive's micro SD slot hides the card and is also backwards compatible with Sega Master System as well as 32X!

For me, I can load roms to the micro SD card using OTG connection with my phone and a card reader. Brilliant for doing it out of the house.

It's very similar to the GB Boy Colour. Could be made by the same people.

I have my name down on the list. Got an EMS cart on its way. Also modding a GBC with front light, 3.5mm profound, and reselling it into an orange casing. This is gonna look sick! I cannot wait to be able to attend an event!
