I've never heard of KiGB, but I know retroarch has a couple cores that work for LSDJ: gambatte, SameBoy, TGB Dual, mGBA, Emux. For LGPT try running it in a terminal and seeing if it gives any errors. For that KiGB if it's not installed and it's a binary, make sure it has executable permissions and if not run a chmod +x on the file?

Really cool, what program did you use to make the music?

One of my favorite old soundtracks was the Atari Jaguar's version of Raiden. I found the .mod files on http://atariage.com/forums/topic/220387 … try3198164 and then I did my best to match it up in goattracker https://www.dropbox.com/s/xkhuq943okwmw … s.zip?dl=0 . I had only previously done one tune in goattracker before but I thought this would be a good exercise to really get into goattracker. They were made in NTSC mode with the 6581 chip.

There's also cybertracker http://noname.c64.org/tracker/

I used 83qz-xlyc . Thanks smile

Both sites don't work for me and the datamostpit one redirects to a random ad/scam...

Thanks man, I learned some new things smile

That's neat but why wouldn't we just use milkytracker?

This kind of posts are slowly destroying Chiptune software engineering.

I was just curious hmm

Ok that sounds better smile

That's neat but why wouldn't we just use milkytracker?

Glad to hear this is still ongoing, I'd still be interested in owning one smile

This channel took me the longest to master, it can do a lot!

Sometimes I try to make it sound like traditional acoustic drums and cymbals, other times I take advantage of the unique sounds it offers. Don't forget about looped noise!

Looping S commands on a table make for great sweeps, using different starting patches can completely change the sound of the sweep.  Sometimes you might want to try to sound like sound effects, in the bridge of this song I tried to sound like a factory exploding, it's not even in time with the song.

Cool. Man that was a kickass song! Was that all lsdj except for the guitar? Wish I could play guitar big_smile

yeah that works

It seems to play right if I run goattracker as

goattrk2 -B100 -M44100

but doesn't look like it saves the settings if I don't run it with any options.

So would that be

goattrk2 -B64 -M44100

?

maybe change the buffer size/mixing rate?

command line:
/Bxx Set sound buffer length in milliseconds DEFAULT=100
/Mxx Set sound mixing rate DEFAULT=44100

Alright I'll try that.
