The visuals for Covox's set are fucking MINDBLOWING. Who did that shit?

Covox did his own visuals!

Wasn't sure where to post this thread, so I'm putting it here in Releases. The guys from Spankwagon.net in Austin were rad enough to film each and everyone of the DATAPOP 5.0 performers, and put up all the FULL sets on vimeo! Really killer sets all around. check it!

Oh god I really hope IAYD sees this thread. He is the current "dudes with the same exact acronym" world champion.

I was really resisting posting in this thread, but -- these are the only two ones as of late

I Am Young Driel
Some rapper kid from Detroit
(listen to 0:14 of the 2nd track)

I Am Young Detroit
Some artist collective/organization for young Detroit artists/musicians

what I don't understand is do people not do a little bit of research before they settle on an artist name? especially goes for that Young Driel kid, he only recently started posting his stuff in like late 2010. it's also funny because I have most urls to pretty much every social networking site (and I have my website [IAYD.org] redirect to iamyourdestruction.com) -- both Driel/Young Detroit were probably a little upset that I have the twitter URL too so they stick to just using #IAYD as a hashtag...hilarious.

Also, if I remember correctly there were also at least one or two midigrind kids who used the acronym but then they just stopped. Nobody has used "I Am Your Destruction" yet so I think I'm good, for now at least.

EDIT: broken links.

Whatever happened to Zepsi?

How sick. If I still lived in San Diego I would have been all over this.
