Great Update with an Awesome Fix!

On the first track of my EP at the Beginning i use just Kits, which are good from the Quality but you still can hear the "DMG Noise", even the mastering couldn't help - Well but this fix did the trick.
Samples overall sound way clearer, but of course it also depends strong on the Quality of the sample. (of course!)

Thanks nitro :3

Since updating I've noticed that one of my unmodded Gameboy colors now makes a slight pitched beep when two kit samples are played simultaneously. It's a European pokemon one (pikachu+pichu), I looked inside the battery compartment to compare it to one that didn't make the noise. the board says "1-2" they other says "1-5". No idea if that's relevant to anyone. I'll compare versions later to see if it used to happen and I just didn't notice.

Doesn't happen on my prosound DMG or the other ones I tested it on.

I just tested the new 4.7.0 LSDj on a GBA sp AGS-101, GBA sp AGS-001 game cube GB player and game boy advance agb 001 and the kits do sound cleaner but now my sample kits are making clicking/pop noises at the end of each sample. I tested using the new lsdj and an older version with the same sav, so all my settings should be the same just different lsdj versions. I also tested this on a DMG CPU 06, a DMG CPU 08 and a GBC. The kits play correctly on these and sound great. I'll try and get a recording of these done tonight and post them.

Is it worse than in egr's track?

I see why this is happening and will discuss a possible solution with Johan.

Here are my LSDJ kit fix comparison recordings. Hope these help. If you ever need any comparisons in the future i'm willing to test things out.

GBA AGB-001 headphone out. First without fix, then with fix. LSDJ 4.7.0. With the fix it has some pops/clicks at the end of samples.

Casval, I know why this is happening. In 4.7.0, I removed some special DC handling code for GBA that I hoped would no longer be needed. I will just bring it back for 4.7.1, then things should be good again. Thanks for reporting.

Yes.

Added a Goomba build for 4.7.1 now. However the best thing is to use a classic Game Boy cartridge, not GBA cartridge...

Thanks.
And why? (New to GBA)

EDIT: The goomba file is .gb instead of .gba... ?
