So I am bored yet again and have been looking into the visualization route. Naturally, I chose to start with MS-DOS but am having a tough time finding much of anything. I know there are some "auto" visual programs out there, but Im looking for something for customizable. Ideally, I would like to start with a just a video clip player for dos, that lets you do basic manipulation and on the fly. Nothing too crazy that needs a lot rendering power. It just seems that anything I found were programs dealing with art, drawing, animation or automatic visualization stuff.

Any suggestions?

http://www.audiovisualizers.com/toolshak/vjprglst.htm check on this list and try out the dos ones.. i never tested any of them (only got into visuals starting on winxp systems and higher), but they have a few dos options (AESTESIS might be a good bet)
