Any good advice on setting this up ? I'm helping a friend and i dont use a mac at all. Specifically we are trying to run the PSSEd to reprogram the PSS-480.

Hatari is the best solution for OSX...I usually run STeem on PC but Hatari is a good one on it so I'm pretty sure it is good on macs ! 
There is a tutorial for windows, but I'm pretty sure it is similar on OSX !

You will need the rom of a TOS ! (Highly suggest you 2.06). You can get it here !
