My Atari ST/FALCON friends did supercool app for ios and android.
Croconaut is messenger like ICQ or WalkieTalkie but TEXT that doesnt need internet or wifi internet...

Why?
You can chat in your work (when you dont have FB access) with your collegues, school (during long boring lessons), on camping with friends, trekking, holidays, during music festivals, shopping centers, best everywhere where is no internet connection. Or in dangerous situations like tornado storm or floods, during earthquake, conflicts...
Ideal for small towns or villages too.

How?
More users = bigger coverage...

No ADDS, no BUYING its FREE...

Nope... Just Android and iOS. In future maybe ports for consoles and PC/MAC. But not for now.

I use Line for chatting at work with friends. Has tons of stickers (emotes) you can use too, this is also a good alternative.
