I'm trying to make an evil sounding song in Famitracker. So I decided to adding few spooky effect to the song. I made one, below you can find link. Any ideas how can I produce different kind of spooky effects like; scream, door creak, hysterical laugh, eerie ambiance, things like that.

Second, I'm using C Lydian (Augmented fourth) scale for the song. What other type of scales can be added to this?

You have the right idea. Copy that onto another channel, played slightly delayed and half the volume. Also experiment with pulse 25 and 75 passing in unison, but slightly detuning them.

I won't suggest a scale to play for now because it is dependent on the other elements of the song.

Record the song in a haunted house.

Vibrato and tremolo (4xy,7xy) and slide notes (1xx, 2xx) go a long way too.

I also think unexpected changes, odd time signatures can have a very unsettling effect.

<-scariest video game song ever in my opinion, those stereo background notes and the unexpected pauses always made me super nervous.

Make some wind sounds with the noise channel and some long envelopes. Make some creepy arpeggios-type melodies like the exorcist/dead silence themes. Generally just use minor scales with some deliberately dissonant notes. Odd time signatures help create an uneasy feeling too.

A slow pitch bend going up for a creaky door, dissonance, low pitched noise for growls/thunder, High pitched vibrato Instruments as leads...

I did stuff like that a lot, here: http://letavetatu.bandcamp.com/album/ni … rnel-panic

I couldn't do wind sound but I did rain and thunder effect. What I exactly need to do for making wind sounds?

incidentally c64 gives you more possibilities for this stuff, listen to the filtered thunder or ring-mod/triangle wails in this.
