I'm new to the Chipmusic forum, but I figure this is the best place to pose this question. Who are other artists with similar sounds to Nobuo Uematsu, Alberto Gonzalez, Hip Tanaka, etc.?

Particularly interested in finding chiptune music that's more similar to tracks you'd hear straight out of a game... not so much the stuff that leans more toward chiptune rave.

Muchly appreciated!

That doesn't narrow it down much, those composers have done music in heaps of different styles!

I bet you could find some chiptune covers of their work though.

^Thats on-point

I find a lot of "authenticity" in Tomy's work.

Nowadays anyone who use pure square or triangle waveform is a chiptune artist

Been listening to Professor Sakamoto - awesome suggestion, thanks! Really loving his music. I'll be listening to Chechu next!
