A concept electronic album? We thought that sounded pretty cool so Belladonna Records is proud to announce our 14th release..."In Between Ghosts & Objects" from High Class Animals.

An introduction serves as an overture to a captivating universe created by Tyler Harper, the man behind High Class Animals.

The beauty of the EP “In Between Ghosts & Ojects” really shines when you listen from start to finish. The five songs are intertwined and play like a concept album; Harpaer has orchestrated a stage of movements playing out a bold theme with powerful soundscapes and whirring piano melodies. Dark sonic atmospheres are illuminated with synths and heavenly acid lines.

Half way through is when the unexpected twists of more aggressive, rolling breaky beats and melodies; a warm cocktail of Techno, IDM and minimal dubstepish.

It sounds neat, but I'm not sure I hear much of a chiptune or amiga influence.

it's more ambient, yes. so being new, was thinking along more general IDM terms...
