So what could you use this for in making recordings and preserving stereo effects? Record it three times LCR and put them together I guess? It sounds bamf for live stuff mostly!

Yup. I've been recording LCR for each channel with this method- up to 10 tracks going and still no noticeable bg noise.

How do you do this, say, if you have a quick panning effect using a table on LSDJ?

EvilWezil's original thread that I got the idea from will probably explain the process/concept best:  http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/6976/ … inversion/

The PISSbox lets you do most of that in real time.

Also, there's a small amount of these available at Kitsch-Bent now, more coming including kits:  http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/pissbox

maybe if this method becomes popullar LSDJ could have a feature to only play a certain channel without you having to do it ytourslef

Its pretty easy to just set every instrument you use to pan hard left or right.. would rather see a defeat transpose switch if we are fighting for space in the instrument settings big_smile

Ah, I get it now.  That thread helped.  Quite a long process to do the stereo effects, but the PISSbox takes out the noise right away so you don't have to bother with it on the computer.  Same thing, just quicker.  Neat.

Cool.  I personally don't mess with the inst settings, just mute and pan channels in the song screen.  That way I don't worry about missing anything.

YES. My god, yes it does. I just finished recording my new album with this here lil' nugget of joy... I'll be making a demo to show off its usefulness soon... As I have recorded LCR's of each channel, some songs are 12 tracks deep- fully independent of one another for further panning/processing. And when nothing's playing its 12 tracks of SILENCE.
An addendum to the recording process for interested parties: Active KITS will cause noise on all channels when triggered, not just the WAV channel. Record the WAV channel first, then turn the KIT instruments into Pulse instruments to prevent quadrupling that sound.

Hey Wezil, this may be too late for you but check out nitro's recent sample playback fix for lsdj.  It's really impressive!  http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/10162 … h-cleaner/

Yes!  I've finally sent Kitsch the rest of the boards and parts so kits and assembled units should be available pretty soon.  The delay is totally my fault.  hmm
