A demo of the Phillips SAA 1099 PSG. Recorded from hardware via a MIDI interface.

This is still awesome.

Considering you made this track the day after you got this piece of hardware, AMAZING work! Very mellow track, a good one to start the day with. Keep it up.

Good stuff!

Love the slides in this, they really give the track an aquatic feel.

this is so pretty

@ Theta_Frost: Yes, I think 'clean' is a great adjective for the SAA 1099 smile

Fantastic!  Clean sounds.

aw, thanks guys wink

Very cool, lounge sound!!!

nice work.... yet again!

thanks!

Lovely.

Cheers Jacko!

That chip sounds so awesome, well done Seb!

Yeah I just got this in the mail yesterday big_smile

I quite like this chip - a relatively linear pitch / frequency range across 8 octaves and 4 bit x 2 stereo field per channel across six channels is pretty excellent for a PSG of from that era.

Very very nice. I had to look up this piece of equipment. Really neat as always, Mr. Scale.
