BlueSight

BlueSight

BlueSight is a demo track I wrote in 2011 that was, and still is, provided on cartridges purchased from Nonfinite Electronics.  I was absolutely flattered when the likes of Danimal Cannon and Roboctopus mentioned how this track served as a learning tool for them.  I'm re-uploading this track as it's original resting place, 8bc, is no longer with us.

A big thank you to the community for simply being what it is: a place packed to the fucking brim with talent where you can reach out to your role models, shake the hand of your inspiration.  We are unique in this.  I don't know of another genre does it quite like us.  Be proud of that.

Outro is a bit long.  I promise when this track goes up on the next EP it'll be appropriately short or blended with the following track. ^_^

Enjoy!

I like this. The length and slow development of it reminds me of those old C64 intro screen songs.

i gave that guy a tshirt once!

Nice track! I'd love to see the .sav

i was completely blown away when i got my first cart ever and this was on it. before that i'd just been messing around on an emulator and this track really showed me what was really possible with LSDJ.

I like the technique where you take a snare sample and layer it with noise. Most of the time lsdj snare lack the tonal element.

Gorgeous. I love the intro. Don't know if you're familiar with it, but your intro reminds me of the intro of Martin Galway's theme to the classic wizball game for the C64, which is a musical masterpiece. So is this.

And this track has helped me to.

lol i guess i cant pass this off as my work (im joking, or Jk'n)

Noice!!!

I've listened to and combed through the tables on this so many times, yet not even enough times.

Thank you for being a mentor. smile

This track was (and still is) such a huge learning tool and source of inspiration for me it's not even funny. Thank you for including this on your cartridges, seriously.
