Generic Funky Stuff

By wilkey-g on Jul 25, 2016 12:16 am

Not my usual style (I usually try to recreate the sound & style of classic NES soundtracks) but I liked the beat I came up with so I went with it.  My first submission here.  Please let me know what you think.  This is a 4 channel .xm made in Milkytracker.
I just resumit as mp3 since there's no xm player apparently.

so good dude

I love this! It reminds me of games like mega man that had intricate changes, which always kept you guessing. Good Job, keep it up! smile

Thanks, the lead is definitely a typical NES pulse wave but the bass is a more complex waveform than the NES triangle.  Probably a VRC6 saw would sound close though.  Thanks again for the feedback.

very nice, good movement and drive - the style actually sounds pretty classic retro / NES-inspired to me but you'd probably know better!
