Happy

My first major step up in chiptune tracking skills, the quality leap within a few months was dramatic, since the Hysterical disk in March.
This song was written just because I was happy... derrr.
Taking cues from Hunz and his Nothing chipdisk, I made a sincere effort to write a chiptune with more character, more fidelity, proper song structure, well thought-out lines, and gave "instruments" in Impulse Tracker a red hot go. The result was a very listenable pop chip tune.
A few years later, this tune reappeared on vinyl, on the transparent blue 220g Emotions Gemini LP in 2002, with minor cosmetic differences such as the addition of mild flanging using an Electric Mistress Deluxe and a different fade out done by the mastering engineer.
Originally released 01Sep97 in UEMOTION.ARJ on Sydney BBS's such as Staesis, Warhammer, Absence of Morality, The Real Connection and Cyberdome.
