Defeating Dr.Willy's Clone - Catch, Fight and Win

By Bloody_Eugene on Mar 7, 2011 2:28 am

I made this for Mega Man compo on the Renoise forums.
I spent so much time editing this 3 parts tune, because I used different tecniques to reach the quality I wanted.
It's only five channels, and I decided to not use any effects like reverb, limiter, ecc at all. Pure and only ChipMusic.

And I think the result is very enjoyable. Good Listening!

PS: If you want, here's my XRNS file so you can listen it from Renoise and see all the work I made : http://www.mediafire.com/?74y3b22qt6q3q31

Sounds cool, but once you're using something like renoise, who really cares if it's "pure." Just do whatever you think sounds good, to hell with the "pure chipmusic" stuff, it's sample based anyway, just go wild i say.

but yeah, sounds pretty cool, I'd like to hear some more interesting lead instruments, sounds just a little bit too much like it's trying to be in a video game

It has some interesting sounding leads but you're missing the Megaman sound entirely if that's what you're looking for (based on the title).

And there is just something about about it that isn't right, I'm going to assume it's because it was done in renoise as opposed to a console based tracker.
