I dunno. I spent a lot of time listening to cerror and wanted to make something that would sort of sound like some of his .xm stuff. Maybe that's why it sounds demoscene-y? Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I wanted to have something in that section so it wouldn't sound empty and decided to try some portamentos. Do you think it's just my way of handling them that didn't work out?
How on earth did you make the NES chip sound so demoscene?
Should probably get rid of those portamentos, though.
