"R lands on the Misshapen terraformed planet of Gaia, the pinnacle of human technology and sustainability as the planet had been historically challenging to terraform and nigh impossible to maintain. Now a planetary center of culture, power, and planetary beauty, the capital of the Galactic Senate had almost been voted off of Lunar Capital to move to Gaia.
But he isn't here for the culture or to have a good time. He is under the careful watch of the mercenary Torvol, notorious for his affiliation with Philanthropy Inc. R recalls as his transport floats past towering skyscrapers and past gorgeous landscapes that this company had a huge hand in getting the human race to the colonies and begins wondering what they want with him."
