Concrete (Renovation Mix)

It's almost been a year since the release of Circuithead and it's nice to look back at one of the most experimental and exciting tracks I've worked on. For a very long time I wanted to write a track with vocals. I presented the ideas for this piece of music to one of my closest friends and great vocalist Live-Andrea Rasch and I'm very happy we managed to create this song which pretty much became the flagship of the entire album.
I've been preparing this Renovation Mix for a (TBA but very exciting) new project which I'm looking very much forward to telling you about. This release is by no means a final mix/master of the track but it's a decent sample of what I've been working on the last couple of days.
I hope you enjoy!
Lyrics:
I barely remember my instincts, my home,
a golden age of my own.
On a concrete ground I watch the weather change,
things we should never derange.
I see beauty in dying flowers.
I find bliss in acid rain.
These days it all seems so mundane.
Everyone is wired to a dying tree.
Everyone is connected to the sea.
On my plastic floor I just can't seem to get
it's all perfectly coherent.
Everyone is wired to a dying tree.
Everyone is connected to the sea.
Radio waves radiation in the air we breathe
Everyone is choking on our frequencies
