Cruisin' with the bit

By Mind Body Alpha on Mar 24, 2012 1:43 pm

Hello !
This is my first upload for this nice community.
It's a track made with Shiru's Qchan engine (thank you Shiru for your work, I hope one day we will have envelopes in Octode wink).
The beginning is maybe very Follinesque.
Hope you will enjoy it.

Thanks Mr Beep. I'm proud you enjoy it.
This is my first song made for the spectrum. I've posted two other songs on my SoundCloud profile.
Since, I'm interested in composing music for spectrum games, I think I will soon buy the spectrum that you advised me.

Man, this is your first song made on ZX Spectrum? You are _scary_. wink
This is an excellent chiptune, what more could I say.

Ah well, maybe one thing. If you make such songs, you simply MUST buy ZX Spectrum  2A (the black  2 it is), to record your songs with it.
You might be nicely surprised how this music sounds from real machine. smile

Thank you for the nice comments. This is encouraging, especially when it comes from cool musicians.

Oh man this is great! Especially love the glissandi that start at 1:20. Hope to hear more.

excellent stuff!

Thank you for your nice comment Shiru !

Cool! I'm honestly impressed that it is actually possible to make something that sounds clean and 'readable' with QChan.
