This is my first official .xm song. I ripped the instruments from the SNES ROM Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. I tried to keep it fairly VGM sounding, not jazzy.

MisfitChris- listening to this and some of your more jazzy work leads me to believe you'd have a good time making a track for the CM.O Easy Listening Compo, Mario in an Elevator. Basically, a muzak/elevator music compo. Of if you'd rather not make a new track I'd be happy to nab one of yours for the compo, if it's alright with you.
hehe, yeah as soon as I got openspc the first thing I thought of was Mystic Quest. I can hook you up with the instruments if you'd like Emar.
i recognized that electric piano sample instantly, great track! just uttering the words "mystic quest" brings a tear to my eye
