Here's another silly and rather short track that uses VRC6 expension. I don't have much to say about this except that the bassline is the first thing I came up with. As always, feel free to give any kind constructive of criticism.

i like this! pretty classic sound. in the future you should upload your fami tracks as .nsf so they can loop!

Thanks for the feedback! I did consider adding some triangle kicks there but the triangle is occupied by the bass melody which is _also_ on one pulse channel of VRC6. I did this to give the bass some more depth and to boost the bass volume of the song. Cave story did inspire this song a bit and the intro has a subtle hint to moonsong (the echoing beeps). I threw them there because the intro itself reminded me of that scene in the game. I also thought about adding a loop command at the end of the song so it would skip back to 0:30 but I was too lazy to do that, silly me. tongue

Cool. Reminds me of Megaman 8 and Megaman Zero and Cave Story all rolled into one. I'd probably double up the snare with some noise, and maybe accent the sampled kick with a pulse kick. I was going to suggest a triangle kick, but I think the VRC6 replaces the triangle, right? Composition wise, I think the bass rhythm could use some syncopated variation. Like, every other repetition, I'd probably replace the first note with a percussive sound effect. But that's just me.

It's a really cool tune. Wish it was looped, wink
