Getting back to basics with a hybrid punk/chiptune. Fast and lo-fi.

It's intended. It's meant to sound like a lofi punk record.

Please mix with your monitors louder. The drums and guitars sound sloshy (that is, the attacks lack definition) and I'm not sure that's what you intended. Otherwise, the basic idea is great.

I like Izotope Ozone for Mastering and Tonebytes Vinyl for the vinyl sound and warmth.

How did you get that warm Lo-Fi sound to the whole thing? Any tips I've been wanting to do some Lo-Fi Folk Indie stuff but haven't been able to get the right sound

Thanks Monotron. I use FL studio to sequence everything. The chipsounds are all the Plogue Chipsounds vst and some samples. The guitar is me. The drums and bass are sliced and resequenced loops and samples.

This totally kicks ass! What did you use to record this?
