Two Calculators tango (CASIO SA-47)

By PSS-270 on Aug 6, 2015 1:29 pm

CASIO-CORE / lo-fi / micromusic made in 08.2015. Two calculators in love are dancing tango. How romantic.
No sequencers used. All parts and fragments have been played live, as usual.
Generally - no additional sound-effects. Usually I use raw original sound of toy-keyboards. (You can spot something here but it's negligible minority, like some echoes on effects).

This time I used my the newest toy - CASIO SA-47. It's surprisingly powerful, for a toy, and also - considering its very small size. I dare to say, it would be a good asset for all casio-core/toytronica musicians as well as for regular chiptune musicians (while concerts, for example).
It has a good quality of sound; very clear samples and very low level of noise (actually - using the noise-gate almost isn't necessary here). The samples are very short however, not always well-looped, sometimes out of tune, true.
But those are charms of micromusic, aren't they. wink
