Ships of Gobbler

Not 'pure' chiptune. I used some amplifier and other fx. I also used other one shots for drums, but the essence of chip is there. Hope you enjoy. Any criticism is welcome. Thanks

I know what you mean by "cold". I used freeamp (v2.5 i think) which gives a lot of that ice pick tone.  This was one of my first attempts at chipmusic, and I'm thinking about re-visiting it. I'll address some of the issues you mentioned when I do. Thanks for the feedback!

I also like this one- not too far stylisticly from your other work released here, but different and unique. The lack of really heavy intrusive percussion is a nice touch, and the lead in the second half with the portamento on it is quite nice and reminded me of early works by Cerror.

However, overall it seems to have been mixed very "cold," and I don't know if this is your intention but it's the way it sounds. Very little color, and the upper end seems maybe a tad too bright, if you know what I mean.
