Damage

Damage

"Damage" will be the fourth track off the up and coming album: Human Interface, the first studio album of Automatic Chance (my electronic, brother-sister project).

Automatic Chance is an expression of nostalgic affinity combined with eclectic musical aesthetics and bolstered by lyrical content that addresses such themes as political/social criticism and speculations of dystopian futures.  We call it "leetcore."

In all, there will be 18 tracks on Human Interface, which we expect to release in the near future.

All music written and engineered by yours truly.

Lyrics written and performed by Heather "Cyber Witch" Butler with additional backing vocals provided by myself.

All guitar performed by Gage Cox.

Thanks for the input everyone.
Though this is a pretty definitive version of what the track will sound like on the album, I am about to enter the final album mastering stage.  I suspected that the vocal volume was slightly too loud and was testing the various levels on different systems to verify.  Therefore, I will be toning them down a little and rounding off the high end ever so slightly to make everything a bit more cohesive.

This is awesome!!!  I think maybe the lyrics should be lowered in volume just a slight bit, or maybe the music raised up a slight bit, cause the vocals are very powerful over the music.  Other than that, this is great man.  I certainly wasn't expecting to hear something like this.  This is potential for big time stuff.

This sounds really cool. I FREAKIN LOVE IT.

Thank you again.  It really is appreciated.

Ah, elite. I see. Cool stuff man! Looking forward to the rest.

Thanks!  Good to hear that there's an audience for our sound (however remote!)

We chose the prefix "leet" because a lot of our music incorporates the sort of high-tech/low-life attitude one might expect to find in cyberpunk/sci-fi.  In the hacker community, "leet" is a descriptor applied to the most skilled "elite" hackers.  Given our lyrical (and musical) content, we decided the reference would be appropriate.  We chose the suffix "core" because it's often attached to "heavier" genres.

Damn this is sick man. Would def listen to the full release.
why leet, though?
