A new song from my band Supercommuter. Released last week on Nerdcore Now Vol. 1. Written in LSDJ, with additional samples and post-production piled on afterward. I'd appreciate any production tips, as we're currently recording our 2nd album and experimenting with different ways to record/mix/master Game Boy samples. I'm not totally pumped on how this one turned out.

Thanks, enjoy! Or, at least enjoy the LSDJ Speech Synthesis on the choruses smile

....I dunno man....  the vocals are like... too present, up front. This song just isn't working, I think you need to rework it and focus more on what you're trying to do with the song.  Like those ha ha ha interjections, could be a good accent, but the way they're used in this song is mostly annoyingly jolting and the overall feeling is like, this is really nerdy in a bad way, uncomfortable to listen to, etc.  You've got strangely uptight and unrelenting vocals merging with this kind of a tralala keyboard, relatively toned down jam in the background.  I think you needa pick one, like keep the vocals and beef up the percussive rhythm element or chill out on the vocals and roll more smoothly with the keyboard.
