Someone Stole All of the Ice Cream

By SubWooferSpecial on Jun 19, 2012 4:57 am

My second song I've made with 1 LSDJ cart. I tried to experiment in this one by putting the kick in the WAV channel instead of the pulse as well as a bunch of other things. I would love criticism as I am still very new to all of this.

sounds neat! beats are fun, the cymbal (i think) sound e.g. ~3.30 is quite swishy, i'd make it a little crisper and tighter and snappier - i love the fun sounds and the beat around 1.08 that's so awesome! the main melody and harmony doesn't grab me so much, but i duno why - all the little percussive stuff e.g. around 3.10 is so fun! personally i don't like little speech samples squeezed into the end of a phrase ~"bwreak!"~ but that's just me i think smile smile really neat for just your second lsdj one! great ideas! yay!

Ah, I see, you went for the happy hardcore bounce. I've got a fondness towards this, 25 seconds in/
