You are correct. I recently purchased my first own midi-keyboard and the melody in this one is me pretty much playing around with it and barely doing any after-editing, pretty much. Thanks for the constructive critiscism and the well-written comment.

The chord progression and bass on this are really cool. I know you didn't ask for Constructive Criticism on this, but I feel like the melody is a bit random and doesn't seem very well thought out. It kind of sounds like it was jammed out live (on a keyboard or something) in one take without much forethought or after-editing and tweaking. The first two notes were really good, but then it went in a different direction than I was expecting.
