A test tune to see if my DS is chip enough.

loving the drums, most peoples rocking a ds-10 dont bother to change the init settings, and the flow is good.  using the ds-10 i had to learn to accept it not being 8bit enough.  The more i embraced it for what it was i learned alot of cool filter sweeps and patches that i wouldnt have used otherwise.  This is about you though not me, i really enjoyed this.

I've gotten really close tuning to the lowest octave and using vco2 (square) to modulate vco 1's pitch (square) and then using the square mgwave out to modulate both of their pitches (although the mix is set to play only vco1, it's essentially using vco2 as an lfo)). if I could get the settings just right....I know it's technically four notes and the only setting is really frickin fast, but I figured some variation of that might work.

also I listened again.

You can't do three note arps, not even on the real synth, but you can change the pitch in the sequencer and use a delay to create the illusion of extra notes at the same time, or set the tempo for 255 and only have 16 chords to choose from (and probably no beats.)

most of the ds10 stuff I've heard has been dark. this is upbeat and it doesn't go crazy with the filter. I enjoyed it.

one of these days I'll figure out a way to patch 3 note arps.
