Yes I did, its random FM tweaking with 8-bit squares and layer instruments that's used a lot in the genesis games, except do to limitations, I made a thump bass sound that be used as a kick drum. This doesn't give me enough room to make those nifty genesis basses unless I use DUAL MODE.
Nice. For some reason I keep getting an image of this being the theme for Carnival Zone if they made a Sonic 4 on the Genesis.
