This is why I have a compaq armada m700 sitting next to me. It's not that usb carts aren't worth it, but making the switch to different carts was $ I didn't have. I have been out of it for awhile and didn't realize the exchangers went for that much.

the programmers normally go for a bit, exactly for the reason nitro2k01 mentioned.

when i cleared out the last of my old stash the non-USB carts were an issue because everyone wanted a programmer to go with them. not being able to interact with the tech bothered most people, but the people that already had programmers sure made out like bandits...

I think the programmer got to that price because several people are sitting on BB carts they can't program. I wonder if a (non-USB at least) bleepbloop cart will garner the same attention.
