they are both held together tight its just with 3 screws in each gameboy. if you had some extras laying around that would solve this problem easily. i really irritated by this but my box of bits that ive accumulated disappeared when i moved or we would not be having this problem

problems are: missing the solid purple battery cover and lack of screws i had to split up 6 screws between the both of them hmm

that said they both work and sound awesome, in fact i recorded all the songs i have uploaded here on the RCA boy
