now that this has been bumped, I'd like to suggest something! namely; podcasts.

maybe to ease the transitions between videos (which probably take a lot of time to produce), you can have audio-only podcasts that go over compositional processes/influences rather than specific technique? the videos are great, but I'd kind of like a version that isn't so visually-focused so I can listen to them in my car or while I work.

EDIT: another point -- podcasts would make it so that you could record these things with artists that aren't physically around you too

What are you running this on? The only thing I could think of was running it in bgb with some sort of fancy background graphic/gif/what have you. Very intrigued.

I really enjoyed watching this. My only concern actually is: how are you going to keep up this quality every month? I assume you're not planning on only doing Nick Maynard songs right? I do not mean that in a negative way - because your last album is great - but I assume you want to mix it up, show how other musicians make music. So you have to find great musicians who are willing to make a show (without falling into the "me-in-my-room-repetitive-voice-screenshot" repertoire . Could be hard actually don't you think?

With this episode, I just thought "Let's kind of ramble through it and then I can edit it and we'll see what we get". It was just kind of an experiment, in a way. Now that I see how that worked out, I definitely want to organize it more clearly into sections. With future episodes, I'll be able to "interview" the songwriter and guide the conversation more so I'm going to try and pick out like, the most interesting five sections of the song to discuss in depth and then the rambling will at least have some kind of organization.

And I definitely agree about the episode titles. Bryface mentioned something similar and I think it's a smart idea.
