I was directed here to get help.

I recently purchased V4 "Envy" Backlight

My solder points appear to be fine, but I am having issues with contrast and functionality demonstrated in the pictures here:

With no resistor in the screen the game will not boot properly. However, if I have the resistor, the contrast is horrible and I can barely see the game at all.

Any help would be appreciated.
