Ground Kontrol has occasional "battery powered music" events that feature open mixer/open mic times. When I saw Anamanaguchi play, it was at Backspace. Great places to hang out, too smile

I wouldn't be surprised if a chip/thrash artist showed up at Rotture/Branx, either - seen lots of good punk shows or rap artists with electronic influence there.
